Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) are phenomena in space, air, land and water whose properties, characteristics and behavior cannot be explained by current science and is not replicable using available knowledge or known technology.
Stimulate and support multidisciplinary approaches to the study and understanding of UAP through scientifically grounded research and the development of critically examined knowledge about the phenomenon, its nature and behavior.
Understanding UAP has scientific, technological, cultural, and political implications of a potentially transformative nature regarding human sovereignty and our current knowledge of physics, medicine, psychology, and biology,
Public, critical and transparent discussion of UAP in Sweden leads to social and societal awareness of the phenomenon, political and regulatory openness in support of transparency, and the establishment of the subject as a scientifically legitimate discipline.
A research think tank devoted to the study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), with the aim of promoting scientific research, knowledge dissemination and international collaboration on issues related to UAP.
The Swedish discourse on the subject has for long been void of scientifically driven initiatives aimed at rigorous study of UAP. Academic study and international collaboration is key to establishing credibility and scientific rigour to the field.
APEX brings together diverse interdisciplinary expertise from fields of science and other areas of competence in pursuit of transparent knowledge development around UAP. Through scientifically based research, APEX contributes to increased knowledge, public awareness, discussion and critical questioning of the current state of knowledge and societal debate on the subject.
APEX works through analysis, advocacy and information dissemination to spread knowledge and awareness of UAP. Outputs include publications, policy, public and scientific initiatives.
UAP is a globally occuring phenomenon, which has been observed, reported and documented by scientific, military and public observers since the 1940s and beyond. Despite being globally experienced, research efforts have been sparse and available knowledge to explain its purpose, origin and nature is still largely lacking. As such, UAP represent a potential for novel discovery beyond current science, and further research and critical enquiry is urgently needed.
Exhibited properties are not reproducible with known technology or science today. These include anti-gravity lift, sudden and instantaneous acceleration, hypersonic velocities without signatures, low observability or cloaking, trans-medium travel and physiologically adverse effects on human subjects. Since these characteristics and behaviours have been consistent in countless cases, historically until present day, the conclusion must be drawn that these phenomena do not have human origin.
For this reason, the study of the phenomenon is a scientific, humanitarian and technological challenge of profound importance. Increased knowledge of the phenomenon could potentially lead to deeper insights into the nature of the universe as well as breakthroughs in science, medicine and technology. Increased efforts to understand the nature, origin and purpose of the phenomenon should therefore be a key objective of international collaboration for the benefit of humankind.
